What data to plot?

Record the temperature (T), dew point (TD), and relative humidity (RH) for the time and date. Repeat for each date. See data sample (below and D2L) and plotting sample using Microsoft excel on D2L. Don’t know how to use excel? You can use any software you wish. You can also plot the graph by hand using old school graph paper. You can put them all on the same plot if you’d like, but use a different vertical axis scale for the relative humidity and try to arrange the two axis. Make sure to use different colors for each time series for better viewing.

What happens after I finish plotting the temperature, dew point temperature and relative humidity?

You should determine if there is a general upward or downward trend to temperature and relative humidity through the period. Write a brief (≤ 3 pages double spaced) summary of the trends in the data—whether the temperature goes down as we might expect during this season, whether there is an apparent trend in relative humidity versus time, and whether (and how) the variables seem to correlate with each other. Also discuss any interesting maxima and minima in the time series. Where there any extreme weather events?
